It is a lot harder to do than one would realize. Right now my life is going really good - I have great friends, a great family and I have great fun... but, I'm missing that great woman. I am the type of guy who enjoys a wide spectrum of what life has to offer. Anything from watching college football-Go Vandy!, tailgating- - excerising- attending concerts and discovering great music is what I find stimulating.

I'm a bit of a nerd. Used to be a big tech buff but that fizzled into a back seat knowledge. Also used to play a lot of video games but since I realized what I really love in film that kind of died, too. I'm still obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog, though. I grew up with him so he kind of stuck with me.. and he loves chili dogs, what's more epic than a hedgehog that loves chili dogs?! Speaking of chili dogs, I can make a killer chili dog. In fact I can make you pretty much a killer anything (except fondue.. can't seem to get that one down). Anyways, I'm done holding you up, please continue!

As for all the boring stuff: I'm a student in my fourth year of college with an open mind. Not reluctant to change settings. I find it hard to stay in one place for too long. I'm an undiagnosed ADD patient, perhaps. As for the interesting stuff: these things come out after you meet me. I can talk about practically anything, and I will do so. I'm easy to entertain, and I need organized chaos every now and then. If I'm not making any sense by now, it's okay, because I've been told that I'm hard to read. But please don't let that scare you! I hate cliches but "I'm an open book."

I'm 3'6, 450 lbs, hairy everywhere, and by hairy, I mean imagine a hedgehog covered in brillo pads. I have 2 blue eyes and one green one in the middle of my neanderthalish sloping forehead that glows bright red when I'm happy. I can't see very well even with the extra eye, so I rely on a combination of my sense of smell and echo location to find my way around. Since my knuckles drag the ground anyway, I usually walk on all fours. Oh, and I smell like a skunk got in a fight with a bucket of fish that had been left in the summer sun for a week on a pig farm. I'm really more the type to describe myself in twenty words or less, but this will be an exception; I want to make an attempt at substantial clarity, as it's kind of hard to fit a broad view of my character into a simple paragraph. I also don't much like talking about myself, but here goes.

My name is E'Narda (pronounced "ee-NAR-day"). It's personal story is very much like my own: recognized as special yet often misunderstood. Blah. No, I don't know it's meaning or origin, and maybe it doesn't really have either, but it's at least somewhat unique and, as expected, has had a significant effect on who I am.

People expect me to fit in to one of their neat little categories... I usually don't. I seem to have this innate need to defy expectation, but not simply for teh lulz.

I am not an outgoing person. I really don't talk much at all in most situations. I think all the time, just like people who talk all the time, except it all goes on in my head. I'm not one to socialize too much and I really don't like being around other people all the time.

Besides music, anime manga and video games are my biggest sources of entertainment among other things. A few months ago I discovered StumbleUpon and it's greatest side-effect: insomnia - which leads me to make note of my noteworthy procrastination skills. Yes. Skillz. Mad ones. ;) There's nothing like the sudden bursts of inspiration (or frustration) that come from being short on time. I think I practically live for it. After all, it has been my strategy for going on... 19 years now?

I'm not religious, nor am I quite the agnostic as my profile states, but I am some sort of non-theist. I'm just not sure if I have a name for it. I used to walk a line between deism and agnosticism but that has gradually changed. If one absolutely had to put a name to the way I see the world one would have to call it "apatheism." While I called myself a deist once upon a time it began to feel like that label only existed to keep me attached to my culture, while doing nothing to settle the dissonance in my mind. A brief stint in the deep, dark world of nihilism is what ultimately lead me to a view of the world which I believe to be reasonably sound and realistic, though reasonable only as far as my mind is capable. You should ask me about it. I'm a philosophy nerd.

The fact that I am actually bothered with ideas and subjects that are so "out there" should be viewed as representative of who I am. Learning and exposure to novelty, to me, are essential as the most basic vital functions of life. I am quite progressive with the political leanings to match. I have a lot of fun as a member of Amnesty International working to support human rights and bring attention and action to those in the world who need it.

I used to have it in my "most private thing I'm willing to admit here" section that I wanted to "save the world." It was a lofty goal, I know, and perhaps a very naïve and even childish/stupid one, but the mind with which I first wrote that wasn't as sophisticated as it is now. It's because I share the world with others that I am concerned with them, their lives, and their well-being. It's simple, to me anyway.

I want to at least be considered some sort of transformative figure when I must be referred to in the past-tense, rather than someone who took up space and ate food and stuff. This is, after all, the only chance I get at being this person who I am.

I have no concept of time. I like shinny things. I am not an animal person, they smell bad and are never properly house trained. Yes yours to. Every one seems to think that their precious pets are better then all the ones I've been around, and NO they are all the same.

I like spicey food, and since I got my motorcycle the odometer in my car hasn't moved. Literaly no exagerations on that. I love my motorcycle, I'd like a bigger one. Because every one has been telling me that bigger is better. I dunno yet but it seems like it could be true what with the horse power to weight ratios changing.

I've lived all over, California, New York, Alaska, Tennessee, Ohio, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, and Virginia. Mostly Ohio and California though. I consider myself a mid westerner. I love the beach and hope to move back to Florida especially since one of my college friends moved there, got a boat, and a fridge just for beer.

- I babysit a family of 3 children Monday-Thursday nights. The 2 boys have been diagnosed with Autism. I've been doing it every week since Dec 2007. Just recently I became a Certified Nurse's Assistant and am now employed as a tech for a home healthcare provider working the same shift of the same job caring for the same kids in the same way I've been doing for two years; only now TennCare pays me by the hour. :-D

- I'm currently in between jobs. Don't worry! I'm not some deadbeat loser in the welfare line. I still work full-time at my night job. I think I've finally figured out "what I want to do when I grow up" and am in the process of becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. I plan to become a triathlon coach in the summer, perhaps a strength & conditioning specialist down the road. Even further may bring me back to school to become a sports nutritionist. Way too early to tell, tho; I'm just now starting.

- I've recently just completed my first Ironman Triathlon and am so excited about it! I'm already signed up to do another one next year. A large part of my life is dedicated towards training for that. My ideal girl will understand this, support this and perhaps even enjoy racing as well.

- I love to slip quotes into everyday conversations. Runner's quotes, movie quotes, inspirational quotes, Family Guy/South Park quotes, etc. I'm FULL of them.

- I like to keep it chill. Hanging out at the Greenway, catching a movie mid afternoon, grabbing a cup of coffee or a beer and talking. I don't have a lot of money to spend or a lot of time to waste.

I love sports! I love the San Antonio Spurs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Florida St. Seminoles. The only sport I play is golf though. I also workout a lot and try to be as healthy as possible when it comes to eating.

I live in Nashville and I like it but I don't like the people so much. If you're out of the ordinary, chances are I'll like you. I love music more than anything else! I listen to music all the time! I'm primarily into rock, electronic, pop, hip-hop of the 'independent' variety, but I also can get down on blues, jazz, funk, and some country.
