The arts are alive and well in Nashville with Fisk University’s Aaron Douglas Gallery with its African art collection, the Van Vechten Galery, the Van Vechten Gallery, and the First Center for the Visual Arts (located in a restored Art Deco post office). Other art studios include the Gallery, Zeitgeist Gallery, Local Color Gallery, American Artisan, and the Cumberland Gallery. Performing arts venues include the War Memorial Auditorium, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. There are bus tours of Nashville attractions such as the Hermitage, Country Music Hall of Fame, and tours by country music’s top stars’ homes.
